A European initiative using sport to promote health and well-being among young people living in underprivileged districts is successfully ongoing. The project is co-funded by the European Commission under the Erasmus + Programme.
Following the implementation of the study on the current coaching programmes and the extent to which they are addressing issues of social inclusion at the different national levels, the analysis results will be put forward at a seminar for each of the participating countries.
Τhe 2nd transnational meeting of the project’s partners will be held in Athens from 27th to 29th of September 2018, with the meeting agenda to include review on the first deliverable and discussion on how to build up the third Work Package.
Furthermore, the partners are going to examine issues concerning the upcoming online questionnaire (application, translation issues, how to work on the feedback received from it), aimed at gaining knowledge about how and under which conditions the coach fosters social inclusion between children living in underprivileged districts.
Participating organizations of the project are: Club Lluita Olimpica La Mina (Spain), Club Gimnastica La Mina (Spain), ASM de Clermont – Ferrand (France), European Institute for Local Development (Greece) and CEIPES (Italy).
